From a small peach orchard stand in 1929, Edith and Everett Furney began finding plants for the peach customers. As business grew they decided to open a retail nursery full time to take care of the increased demand for plants and trees. In 1974 realizing a need for more growing ground, forty acres of farmland was purchased in Gresham, Oregon and a new production facility was started. Now Furney's Nursery is growing and propagating shrubs and trees on over 150 acres of land in Oregon and operating a retail and wholesale center here in Des Moines, Washington.

In the past 60 years Furney's Nursery Inc., has seen many changes but through all of the differences we have held our customers with the same respect as Edith and Everett Furney did in the beginning.
